Ty’n Y Llidiart

Ty’n Y Llidiart is a small nature friendly farm in Llandegla, North Wales. We are located within the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley area of outstanding natural beauty.

SMALL SCALE FARMING AT 1000 FEET

RARE BREED POULTRY

We keep rare breed chickens and ducks. Based at close to 1000 feet in the hills of North Wales we value vigorous breeds and keep Swedish Flower Hen, Shetland, Cream Legbar, Maran, Marsbar hybrid, together with a variety of Pekin bantams, and Welsh Harlequin ducks.

CACTUS NURSERY

Ian Robinson has been a specialist grower of cacti and succulents since 1952 (when he had his first cactus). He is a National Show judge for the British Cactus and Succulent Society and is available to give lectures on various subjects.

NATURE FRIENDLY FARMING

Janet and Ian Robinson have farmed with low impact methods since moving to Ty’n Y Llidiart in May 1985. With his background and career in ecology and sustainability Graham Berry, and Jen, who grew up at the farm, continue in this tradition.

To avoid disappointment, please contact us before visiting to confirm availability of cacti, small bale hay, chickens and hatching eggs as this is dependent on seasons and demand.

PLEASE NOTE SATNAVS will bring this postcode to neighbouring farms at the bottom of the hill. Our farm is located on the right hand side just before the bend at the top of the hill before the roundabout. If approaching from the roundabout slow down in plenty of time before the bend as the drive is steep. Â
